COLLEGE CREDITS

Professional Development Opportunity

College CreditsWe are pleased to offer you the opportunity to earn transferable College Credits in partnership with UC San Diego Division of Extended Studies. Participation in the BOOST Conference grants you the opportunity to earn one (1) unit of college credit by participating in select BOOST Conference workshops. Participants will receive a transcript for their records upon course completion from the UC San Diego Division of Extended Studies. The College Credit registration fee is $55, payable to UC San Diego Division of Extended Studies.

Earning College Credits at BOOST:

  • College credit is available through our partnership with UC San Diego Division of Extended Studies. Through this partnership, all attendees have the option to enroll in a post-baccalaureate professional course (Expanding Horizons: Out-of-School Time Learning for Educators) and receive 1 college credit (for a $55 fee paid directly to the university).
  • Who is eligible? - College credit is open to all BOOST attendees
  • How does this benefit me? - Credit earned in this course may be applied toward an academic degree or professional credential, subject to the approval of the receiving institution(s).

How it works:

  • Attend the conference and engage in 10 hours of professional learning as part of the Expanding Horizons: Out-of-School Time Learning for Educators course.
  • All Pre-conference Academies, workshops, and General Sessions count towards the 10-hour requirement (Please note: Film Festival, Inspiration Stations, Podcasts, Meet the Authors sessions, Exhibitor Showcases, Field Trips, and Camp Inspire do not count towards the 10-hour requirement).

How to participate:

  • If you are interested, pick up a "College Credit" tracker form at the On-Site Registration booth
  • Verify attendance at each session by getting a signature from the Room Host in each workshop and General Session you attend.
  • Turn in your College Credit tracker in one of two ways:
    • Bring your completed tracker to the Closing Raffle on Friday, May 2, 2025, at 11:15am-12:00pm.
    • Scan or send photos of your completed tracker to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. by the deadline of Friday, May 16, 2025.
  •  A BOOST team member will follow up with you regarding the next steps and official enrollment in the course.
